６月の例会は、上半期の最終回なので、７月からの新役員の就任セレモニーが行われました。新役員はそれぞれ、新しい任務を誠実に果たすことを誓いました。
うれしいことに今日は４つの素晴らしいフォーマルスピーチがあり、それぞれ力強い評価を受けていました。
テーブルトピックはかなり難しいけれども面白いものが用意されていました。例えば、日本相撲協会において「伝統を守るべきか」というスピーチをするのです。
新役員就任セレモニーが最初に行われたにも関わらず、例会の進行はほぼ時間通りに進みました。
今日はゲスト2回目の方がおられ、近々メンバーになられるとのことで、皆楽しみにしています。
As the June meeting was the last one in the former half of the year, we had the Induction ceremony of new officers. Every new officer pledged their allegiance to their new jobs of our club.
Fortunately, we had as many as four good speeches, followed by powerful evaluations today.
Today's Table Topic Master had prepared rather challenging but interesting topics. For example, you suppose yourself making a speech in front of Japan Sumo Association about if we should keep the traditions.
In spite of having the Induction ceremony at the beginning, everything went very smoothly on time.
We had a guest who had visited us for two times! We look forward to having her as our new member before long!文責：MK
