139th Meeting 18January2020 - Happy New Year!

千里TMC139回定例会（レポート）

令和二年、最初の例会は久しぶりにコラボのベースルームに戻り開催されました

メンバー14名とゲストには過ってのメンバーY.Kさんが参加されました

今回TOMDを務められるのはA.Sさん　テーマ―は“JOY”

事前に各自にショートスピーチを依頼されていて、セッションの合間に５名の方が

今日の言葉“SQUEEZE”（ワードマスターＥ.Ｉさん提供）も織り込んで、それぞれ

身近な喜びの発見について言葉を「絞り出しながら」述べられました

M.Kさん、R.HさんはJOYを使った折句も披露　さすがプロですね

次には定例の準備スピーチについて

最初のスピーカはアイスブレイカーのY.Cさん

日英ともご堪能でご自身の趣味（旅行）を通しての自然や人々とのふれ合い・出会いに

ついて紹介されました（屋久島は素晴らしいところですね！）

二人目は最近Evaluatorも経験され、またスピーチにも磨きをかけられているM.Iさん

PKO（国際連合平和維持活動）に引っ掛けての家庭内PKO活動についてユーモアも入れ

かつ心理的分析による対応策も示されて非常に為になるお話でした

ラストは超ベテランのR.Hさん

今回は上級コースマニュアルFacilitating　Discussionの最終プログラム（Reaching　a

Consensus）に基づく討論統括型スピーチを披露されました

今回も全員参加型で問題・トピックス（Plan　for　2020）の列挙から絞り込みに至る統括

話法を示され興味深いものがありました

全５回に渡る統括話法（Panel　Discussion、Brainstorming含）は通常のパブリック

スピーチとはまた違う話法であり非常に勉強になりR.Hさんありがとうございました　

それと最上級コース（ACG）修了おめでとうございます

以上の準備スピーチでしたが、今回はR.Hさんがスピーチ時間オーバーでベストスピーカーはなしでした

次に評価スピーチについては

各評価者、評価手法・各スピーカのObjectivesに基づき卒なく評価スピーチをされました

実のところ各準備スピーチ（スピーカー）の構成・デリバリーが良く、余り批点・改善が見当たらないようでしたが、マナー面で的確な指摘をされたT.Kさんがベスト評価賞を

受けられました

最後にテーブルトピックススピーチについて

マスターはF.Tさん　トピックスは　What’s　JOY　for　you（famous　figure）？

丁度たまたま今回のテーマ―“JOY”を取り入れての、著名・有名人になりきっての

即興スピーチを行うというものでした

因みになりきる人は（オバマ元大統領、アマゾンCEO、林おさむ、明石家さんま、トムクルーズ、クインエリザベス、トランプ大統領、そして　あのゴーンさん）

ゲストY.Kさん含め８名が即興スピーチをされました。

その人になりきるのではなく、間違ってその人についてスピーチをされた方もおられましたが、時の人、トランプ、ゴーン（二人共にFAKER）に徹し流ちょうに演出されたA.SさんとT.KさんがダブルでベストTTS賞を獲得されました

TMOD　A.Sさんのいつもの楽しい愉快な演出もありオンタイムでの閉会となりました

合間に入るあのサイレンの音なかなか良かったです。また使いましょう

次回の例会（２月１５日）はクラブコンテストです

コンテスタント出場はまだオープンです

またコンテスト役員もアサインされますのでよろしくお願いします

第136回例会 2019年10月19日

The 136th Regular Meeting

The 136^th Regular Meeting was held successfully on October 19 at Collabo in Senri Chuo. The meeting started with the News Master Session presented by TM N who reported on the 16 year old climate activist, Greta Thunberg  who had been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. It was truly inspiring to hear about young people making their voices heard and wanting to become future leaders.

Three TMs delivered Prepared Speeches. 1. Stories from the Human Zoo..Bus Ride  2. Bad and Good 3. Facilitation and Discussion Session. This was 30minutes of brainstorming using effective communication skills.  TM H engaged the entire audience using creative visual aids and demonstrating excellent leadership skills. Such a terrific role model! We are so fortunate to have her as a member. 

At the Table Topics Session, impromptu speeches on Halloween related topics were delivered.  Do you believe in ghosts?  What are you most afraid of?  It was a fun and spooky session!

Great news!  We are proud to announce the results of the Area 63 Evaluation Festival which was held on October 6th, at Nishinomiya Komin Center.

第135回例会 2019年9月21日 Blossoming Brainstorming Session and Prepared Speeches

Thanks to everyone’s co-op, we had a vibrant and meaningful meeting  last Saturday.

TM H attended all the way to Senri despite of her painful accident and demonstrated

her ACS speech (The Brainstorming) joining all members vividly on which topic has been well

discussed as we STMC now face its problem with “How to Attract New Members”.

Such series of discussion as The Problem-Solving Discussion will follow up at the October meeting.

Other three prepared speakers :TM K and TM T happened to present/deal with unexpected accident such as lost baggage or wrong flight on ones trip by air overseas in each different speech style.

I took up the topic of how to grow vegetables which seemed to be rather difficult to be understood as I used unfamiliar specialized words sometimes.

  

As for the evaluation session, which was a very important/exciting part for the meeting this time,  there were three counterpart Evaluators:  TM K, TM A and TM AD  who well evaluated taking routine step in kiss-kick-kiss style.

Finally TM AD who seemed to present evaluation speech most strictly according to the speaker’s Objective of Speech, will proceed to the Area Evaluation Event(Contest) held at Nishinomiya TMC on Oct 6.

Also TM K volunteered to take part in The Japanese Evaluation Event on same day.

Please cheer both of them up or give useful advices for their reference before the contest, if available.
