First Regular Meeting in 2013

A Happy New Year!

On Jan. 19, we started the first regular meeting in 2013 with a new lectern!

We had three speakers and enjoyed their speeches.
Their titles were:

- The Happiness Equation
- Organized Speech
- "Sugoi" "Spectacular" and languages

For the Table Topics Session,
Questions from the Eiken interview tests were prepared.

- Is the Internet destroying family communication?
- Do the rich have a responsibility to help the poor in society?
- Can working parents play a sufficient role in raising their child?
- Can Japanese companies remain competitive in today's global economy?
- Failure teaches success...do you agree?
- Action speaks louder than words...do you agree?
- Does music play a positive role in society today?
- Is Japan likely to become more  multicultural in the future?
- What is your philosophy of life?

Please try to make your original short speeches for these question.
It's a good practice for a prompt speech!

The contest season is coming closer.
And the next regular meeting will be an in-house speech contest.
